We integrate intensive risk management at all levels of our investment process from hedge fund due diligence to portfolio construction. We invest significant time evaluating prospective hedge funds, the strength of their investment strategies and their risk management tools. We assess their quantitative tools, qualitative judgments, behavioral trading, and operational support, all of which impact portfolio risk. We evaluate the risk exposure of our hedge funds on a monthly basis with careful quantification of exposures. We apply a proprietary risk assessment program that includes qualitative, quantitative, scenario and sensitivity risks.
